In June 2009 Franklin Equipment
Company, a mainstay of the logging community, had filed bankrupt and
all assets were sold at auction.
GB Equipment LLC is one of the
few dealers who have retained a portion of the original parts
distributed by Franklin Tree-Farmer. We plan to continue selling
our stock to those individuals currently operating Franklin Tree-Farmer
Equipment. Unfortunately, once our stock is sold we will not be
able to replenish it.
Links on this page will take
you to PDF files containing spec sheets by serial numbers stamped on
your equipment. Serial numbers are found in various locations
depending on the equipment you own. Some serial numbers are
stamped under the dash/steering column at knee level and others may be
on the outside of the cab. In order to use this module you will
need to know your serial number.
Open the PDF Spec Sheets link
to search for diagrams detailing your machine. Select the [Spec
Sheets] button and locate your equipment by Serial Number. Browse
the PDF diagrams and record the part(s) and part number(s) you
need. Then return to our homepage and select the Franklin Parts
Inventory for availability and cost of the specific part(s).
While searching for the parts
you need. Keep in mind that every logging machinery made by
Franklin Tree-Farmer was very unique, most of the parts used to make up
each of these pieces of equipment had to be manufactured individually
to meet the specifications for operation. Although we do have a
large stock of Genuine Franklin Parts, we do not have the entire
inventory manufactured by Franklin. Therefore, we may not have
the parts you are looking for. Fortunately we do have the
diagrams for many of the machines built. These diagrams can be
very useful in obtaining after market parts or reproduction of parts
for your specific equipment.
